In collaboration with The Association of Public Theaters and Halls in Japan, Institut français du Japon will host a presentation by four French artists in the frame of YPAM Yokohama International Performing Arts Meeting 2023.
Yokohama Dance Collection 2023 participating artist, emerging choreographer Soa Ratsifandrihana, two resident artists at Villa Kujoyama, an artist-in-residence run by the Institut français, Pauline Brun (performer, choreographer and visual artist) and Tsirihaka Harrivel (circus artist and creator), and Delphine Vuattoux, Production and Distribution Director of Centre national de la Danse (CND). Performing arts professionals, including producers and production managers, interested in the latest developments in the French performing arts scene are invited to attend. アンスティチュ・フランセは、公益社団法人 全国公立文化施設協会と協働し、YPAM横浜国際舞台芸術ミーティング 2023の一環で、フランスのアーティストと関係者４名によるプレゼンテーションを開催します。
ヨコハマダンスコレクション 2023 参加アーティストの、若手振付家ソア・ラツィファンドリアナ、アンスティチュ・フランセが運営するアーティスト・イン・レジデンス「ヴィラ九条山」のレジデント・アーティストである、ポリーヌ・ブラン（パフォーマー、振付家、ビジュアルアーティスト）とツィリアカ・アリヴェール（サーカスアーティスト、クリエーター）、フランス国立ダンスセンター（CND）の制作・配給ディレクターのデルフィーヌ・ヴュアトゥが登壇します。日英逐次通訳付き。フランスの最新のパフォーミングアーツシーンに関心のある、プロデューサーや制作担当、アーティストなど、舞台芸術のプロフェッショナルのご参加をお待ちしています。（通訳：川口隆夫）

Pauline Brun (Performer, Choreographer, Visual artist, laureate of Villa Kujoyama)
Pauline Brun is a performer, choreographer and visual artist. Her artistic practice explores the body with self-mockery, bordering on the absurd, and plays with contexts and different media. Trained in dance at the Conservatoire, in visual arts at the Villa Arson and the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, and in choreography at ex.e.r.ce at the Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier, her work is cross between choreography and visual art, and she plays with interdisciplinarity in each of her projects.
Her creations have been presented at 3bisf for the Festival Parallèle, at the Far° Festival (Switzerland), at the Centre George Pompidou, at MAC VAL, at the Salon de Montrouge, at MAMAC, at La Station artist-run-space, at the Centre National de la Danse. As a performer and set designer, she has worked with Fanny De Chaillé and Philippe Ramette, Alain Buffard (reconstruction of Mauvais Genre), Pol Pi, Jule Flierl, Nina Santes, Adaline Anobile, Jonas Chéreau and Antoine Cegarra, among others.
ポリーヌ・ブラン（振付家、パフォーマー、造形作家）
ポリーヌ・ブランのアーティストとしての活動では、不条理と紙一重のところで自虐ネタを用いて身体を探究するとともに、文脈や様々な媒体を巧みに操る。ニース地方音楽院ではダンスを、ヴィラ・アルソンとパリ国立高等美術学院ではで造形芸術を、モンペリエ国立振付センターのマスター・プログラム《ex.e.r.ce》では振り付けを学んだポリーヌ・ブランは、パフォーマンスとビジュアルアートの狭間で提案を打ち出し、プロジェクトごとに分野横断的な試みを展開することを楽しんでいる。
その創作活動は、フェスティバル・パラレル（現代アートセンター《3bisf》）、Far°フェスティバル（スイス）、ポンピドゥー・センター、ヴァル・ド・マルヌ現代美術館（MAC/VAL）、現代アート展《サロン・ド・モンルージュ》、ニース近現代美術館（MAMAC）、アーティスト自主運営スペース《La Station》、国立ダンスセンター（CND）などで紹介されてきた。また、パフォーマーや舞台美術家としては、ファニー・ド・シャイエ＆フィリップ・ラメット、アラン・ビュファール（ダンス作品「Mauvais Genre」の再現）、ポル・ピ、ジュール・フリエルル、ニナ・サンテス、アダリーヌ・アノビル、ジョナス・シェローやアントワーヌ・セガラなどとのコラボレーションを行っている。https://www.paulinebrun.com

Tsirihaka Harrivel (Circus artist, Creator, laureate of Villa Kujoyama)
A French physical performance artist, born in Antananarivo (Madagascar), Tsirihaka Harrivel is a creator, a composer for his work, and has developed a language based on circus and its different aspects : its materials, its fields, its constraints. After studying at the National Center of Circus Arts, then at the prestigious National Superior Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Paris, he began collaborating with Vimala Pons with whom he has created, since 2006, various spectacular events which explore possibilities, prohibitions, and the limitations of public speaking relative to physical movement, circus forms and his own journey. This work dealing with the senses, with text, manifested first in De Nos Jours (Notes on the Circus) (Nowadays (Notes on the Circus)) (2012) with the Ivan Mosjoukine Collective. Then in All Night Revue: revue 1 to 6 (2015) his process expanded to include links to Music Hall, and then finally GRANDE — (2016) a pivotal work which combined their two visions: the physical sensation of dizziness and the imbalance of words. In 2017, Tsirihaka and Vimala founded their production company representing their multi-dimensional project TOUT ÇA/ QUE ÇA (ALL THAT/ ONLY THAT).
ツィリアカ・アリヴェール（サーカスアーティスト、クリエーター）
身体を駆使するフランスのパフォーマンス・アーティスト。マダガスカルのアンタナナリボ生まれのツィリアカ・アリヴェールはクリエーター、作曲家でもあり、サーカスとその多様な側面（道具、領域や制約）を拠り所とする表現方法を編み出している、英国の国立サーカス・アート・センター、さらにパリの名門校、フランス国立高等演劇学校において学んだ後、2006年からは、ヴィマラ・ポンスとのコラボレーションを通し、可能性、禁止、身体の動きと関連して公の場で話すことの限界、身体の動き、サーカスの形態、そして彼自身の旅を探る様々な演劇的創作を行っている。感覚とテキストを扱った最初の作品はイヴァン・モジューキン・コレクティヴと制作した『De Nos Jours (Notes on the Circus) (Nowadays (Notes on the Circus))』（2012年）である。『All Night Revue: revue 1 to 6』（2015年）では、彼のプロセスはミュージックホールを含むほどまでに拡大している。最新の作品である『GRANDE -』（2016年）は、極めて重要な作品であり、ツィリアカとヴィマラの2つのビジョン、つまりめまいの身体的感覚と、言葉の不安定さを結びつけている。2017年、2人は彼らの多次元的プロジェクト『TOUT ÇA/ QUE ÇA（これ全部／これだけ）』を制作するプロダクションを設立した。www.toutcaqueca.com

Soa Ratsifandrihana (Choreographer)
Soa Ratsifandrihana is a dancer and choreographer. After studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Soa worked with James Thierrée, Salia Sanou and Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. In October 2021, she presented her first solo show, g r oo v e, in Brussels. The show has been performed more than 40 times and continues to tour Europe. In parallel, Soa is preparing a diptych for May 2024, in which she tells a story she would have liked to have heard as a child. The two parts of this diptych take the form of a radio production Ce n’est pas moi qui mens, ce sont les anciens and a show entitled Fampitaha, fampita fampitàna.
Following on from her first solo, she is interested in the possible entanglements between radio narrative, choreographic and musical composition, reminding us that our bodies, just like our words, are the carriers of stories. Soa is an associate artist at Kaaitheater from 2023 to 2025.

パリ高等音楽舞踊学校でダンスを学んだ後、ジェームス・ティエレ、サリア・サヌー、アンヌ・テレサ・ド・ケースマイケルの元で活動。2021年10月、ブリュッセルにおいて初演した初のソロ作品『g r oo v e』は40回以上上演され、欧州で公演が行われ続けている。これと並行して、ソアは2024年5月に向け、子どもの頃に聞きたかった物語を語る2部作を準備している。この2部作の2つの部分はラジオ番組『Ce n’est pas moi qui mens, ce sont les anciens』および舞台『Fampitaha, fampita fampitàna』の形をとっている。

Delphine Vuattoux (Production and Distribution Director of Centre national de la Danse CND)
Delphine Vuattoux has been working for 20 years in the performing arts field. After studying sociology, cinema and cultural management, she first collaborated with independent theater companies. She also worked for a national dramatic center, Nanterre-Amandiers with directors as Philippe Quesne and Theo Mercier and now in Centre national de la danse, the national ressource center for dance in France.
デルフィーヌ・ヴュアトゥ（フランス国立ダンスセンター（CND）制作・配給ディレクター）
デルフィーヌ・ヴァトゥーは20年以上舞台芸術の分野に携わる。社会学、映画、文化マネジメントを学んだ後、まず独立系の劇団との連携を担う。またフィリップ・ケーヌやテオ・メルシエといったディレクターとともに、国立演劇センターであるナンテール・アマンディーヌ劇場に勤務。現在はフランスのダンス国立リソース・センターであるフランス国立ダンスセンターに所属する。https://www.cnd.fr/en/
